New Features for the Chrome Extension

New updates to our Chrome extension are live! Now you can use our Chrome extension directly in a Gmail compose window (aka the window that pops up when you write a new email). When you click on the logo that appears in your email compose window, several icons will appear. The calendars that are listed are directly synced with the specific calendars that you’ve set up in your Control Center and with your Meeting Types.

These give you the option to directly insert your calendar link as you’re typing as either a URL, by its event name, or in a sentence. You can also insert a slash command to queue Amy to take over negotiation of the meeting for you, and utilize the Meeting Type you specify (if you need a refresher on Meeting Types, head on over here).

Let’s check out a few examples. Let’s say you want to give someone a full URL, just to make things crystal clear. It might look something like this:

You can also insert Meeting Type slash commands directly into your email. Amy will take over from there for a more personal touch:

And of course, you can always insert the name of your Meeting Type that automatically hyperlinks to your calendar. Your guests can choose a time that works for them, and your email retains a professional look with no additional effort from you:

Pretty cool, right? 🙂

There are tons of little ways that the Chrome Extension makes your life easier, and those little things add up to big time saving. Try it out and see what works best for you!
