Improved International Support for Zoom Users

x.ai works for busy professionals around the world. We’ve scheduled meetings for people in 210 countries, and that’s just in the first 9 months of 2020. It’s vital that we get it right for every person in your meeting, no matter where they’re located.

With this is mind, we’ve made an update to better support international Zoom users.

x.ai now uses your Zoom global dial-in settings to determine which phone numbers are included on the event description. This was previously localized this based on your x.ai settings, and it’s now something you can set directly in the Zoom web portal.

How to Set Default Dial-in Countries for an International Zoom Meeting

Once you have logged into your Zoom account either as an admin or an individual user, you can navigate to the default dial-in countries from the Telephone tab, which is found under Settings.

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the pencil icon in the Global Dial-in Countries/Regions section.

As you select countries from the list on the left, they will be added to the box on the right. You can drag each country to reorder the list. x.ai will include localized phone numbers on the calendar invite for the country at the top of the list on the right.

Enhanced Zoom Security for all Your Meetings

Zoom will require a passcode (or waiting room) to be enabled for all meetings beginning on September 27. The x.ai and Zoom integration is fully compliant with this security change.

x.ai displays the passcode for unique Zoom meeting links on the Event Description in the calendar invitation, as well as on the x.ai Meeting Page.
