Check out the NEW Tomorrow’s Meeting Prep

After months in beta and tons of input from the community, we’re excited to officially launch the Tomorrow’s Meeting Prep email to all of our users!

When we launched this email, we knew we’d need lots of feedback from our users to ensure it was a consistently valuable part of their day. Over the last few months, we’ve continued to test different features based on suggestions from our users. And while we’re officially leaving the beta phase, we’ll be continuing to iterate and improve on this email in the coming days and weeks.

Let’s quickly walk through the major changes:

Daily Tomorrow’s Meeting Prep

Let’s start with the biggest change: Starting this week, you’ll now receive your planning email in the evening the day before, instead of the morning of the day-of. We know that many people like to get organized for the day ahead and now Tomorrow’s Meeting Prep can be part of that process.

Inside Tomorrow’s Meeting Prep, you’ll see some familiar sections as well as some new ones.

Meetings that Need Confirmation

Right up top, you’ll see any Ad hoc meetings you need to confirm. Ad hoc meetings are ones you’ve emailed Amy or Andrew to schedule. After you initiate one of these meetings, we immediately ask you to confirm the details to ensure we’re sharing the most current information with your guests. If you’ve forgotten to do that, you’ll have an easy option to do that right from the Tomorrow’s Meeting Prep email. Neat!

Conflicting Meetings and Meetings Without a Location

Next up: These are sections where will alert you to conflicting meetings on the next day’s calendar, in case you need to reschedule something. We’ll also give you a heads up on meetings that are missing location details. Pro tip: You can always turn these sections OFF in your Tomorrow’s Meeting Prep preferences.

Tomorrow’s Scheduled Meetings

Here’s where we’ll show you the full rundown of your next day. Not liking what you see? You can easily reschedule any meeting you’ve booked with (which are clickable in blue) that you’re the host of. You can also turn ON the ability to reschedule meetings (shown in black) in your preferences.

Pending Meetings

We’ll wrap up your Tomorrow’s Meeting Prep email with an update on any pending meetings that you’ve asked us to schedule and their status.

Anything Else I Should Know?

As part of these changes, we’ve decided to stop sending separate weekly summary emails. We’ll also skip sending you an email if you don’t have any meetings scheduled the next day. (Note: We will still send you an email if you have pending meetings or ones you need to confirm.) We’ll be continuing to add features in the coming weeks, and we always love to hear your ideas.

So, what are you waiting for?
